Privacy Policy

• Purchases: when you buy, our reseller Paddle collects your payment and billing details. We receive your email address and a transaction reference, and store them with a private download code and timestamp so we can deliver your files, resend them, and handle support and refunds (legal basis: performance of the contract; keeping sales records: legal obligation).
• Delivery email: we use your email address to send your download link. Emails are sent from noreply@notify.tryjobquote.com through Lovable's built-in email service; replies reach our Gmail inbox. Unsubscribes, bounces and suppression are handled by that service.
• Early-access list: people who joined our earlier waitlist gave a first name, email and business type (with timestamps and a source label). We keep that list to contact those people about JobQuote as they asked (legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw by email). The waitlist form is no longer on the site.
• Software accounts: if you create a JobQuote Software account, we store your email address and a securely hashed password (managed by our authentication provider), plus the business data you enter — clients and their contact details, price list, quotes, jobs, costs and payments — so the app can work (performance of the contract). This data is private to your account. We also store your software licence record (order reference, start and end date, status). You are responsible for having a lawful basis to store your own customers' details in the app.
• Messages you send us: your email and message, to answer you (legitimate interests).
• Security and operation: technical request data (such as IP address and browser details) processed by our hosting provider to run and protect the site (legitimate interests).

The free calculator runs only in your browser; the numbers you enter are not saved or sent to us.

Only if you choose “Accept marketing”, we load the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixel to measure whether visits and purchases came from our ads. Meta may then receive browser and device information, cookie identifiers, the page address and events such as page views, viewing the product, starting checkout and a completed purchase (with the product price). We do not intentionally send Meta your name, email, calculator amounts or payment details. Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it any time via Cookie settings; this stops future tracking but does not affect processing before withdrawal. Your choice itself is stored in your browser's local storage, which is needed to remember it.

The site's hosting provider, Lovable, automatically collects aggregate traffic statistics on the published site — visits, page views, duration, referrer/source, device category and country based on browser timezone — to measure overall traffic, without profiling people across visits. This is separate from the Meta consent choice. See Lovable analytics documentation and Lovable's privacy policy.

• Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record, for the sale of the product, payments, tax compliance, invoicing and refunds.
• Lovable (Lovable Cloud) — hosting, database, file storage, analytics and email delivery. Our database is hosted in Ireland (European Union); this does not mean every hosting, logging or third-party process takes place in the EU.
• Meta — only if you accept marketing tracking.
• Professional advisers (such as an accountant) and authorities where required by law.

Some of these providers may process data outside the EEA. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the provider's own safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions; see their privacy policies for details.

Order records are kept for as long as you may need to re-download your files or ask for support, and for as long as the law requires us to keep sales records. Early-access entries are kept while the list is used for the updates people asked for, and removed on request. Data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections, access-restricted storage for orders and product files, private download codes, and server-only access to order data.

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to a supervisory authority, for example the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali. Other countries may have their own authorities.
